Gmail the Great Sunday December 10, 2006
When I started using Gmail as my primary email, I could only wish that I can suck all my other web mail into it. With its simple interface and integration with other nifty Google apps/services, how can you go back to Yahoo! and Hotmail annoyingly ads-filled pages? Of course I would like to keep my other email addresses for both identity and sentimental reasons.
Finally, Google has added a feature to Gmail called Mail Fetcher. It allows you to fetch mail from any of your other, non-Gmail accounts.
Get mail from other accounts
Now Gmail can check for the mail you receive at your other email accounts. You can retrieve your mail (new and old) from up to five other email accounts and have them all in Gmail. Then you can even create a customized ‘From:’ address, which lets you send messages from Gmail, but have them look like they were sent from another one of your email accounts.
Mail Fetcher addition to Gmail special features makes it undisputedly the best email service. It comes with built-in Google search technology and over 2,600 megabytes of storage (and counting every day). The integrated GTalk instant messaging right into the email is always handy when you are remote in an internet shop and working only in a browser. Here are the additional info on why would you use Gmail.
Thanks Google and looking forward for more!
